Zhanna Soushko is a junior at the City College of New York, majoring in International Studies and Political Science.   Zhanna interned at International League for Human Rights where she helped advocate against the mass prosecution of journalists in Uzbekistan. She also interned at the U.S. Network for Global and Economic Justice and currently serves as a volunteer, designing newsletters for the NGO Committee of UNICEF.  As a first-generation immigrant, Zhanna plans to earn a Ph.D. in Political Science and a J.D. in International Law. $1,000
