Offers educational workshops, counseling, a hotline, and advocacy related to human rights violations. Grant is for center serving the l/g/b/t and persons living with AIDS in the rural, poverty-stricken areas of Limón.

CLAF the Community of Feminist Lesbians
Tel Aviv, Israel
An Israeli network, including Arab/Palestinians and those of North African descent, providing support groups, educational programs, and policy advocacy. Grant is for general support.

Fundación Puntos de Encuentro

A feminist center that also works to organize and educate youth.  Grant is for l/g/b/t youth support and workshops for youth leaders on fighting homophobia and heterosexism.

KAOS GL

One of only a few l/g/b/t groups in Turkey, KAOS organizes public discussions and demonstrations, workshops and film festivals and publishes a monthly journal on the communities' issues.  Grant is for general support.

A lesbian organization that sponsors meetings, produces a journal and increases lesbian visibility through media.  Grant is for outreach in small cities and rural communities.

Lesbianas a la Vista

Addresses the psychological, health and political needs of lesbians with self-help groups, including one on lesbian battering, clinics and street theater. Grant is for general support.

LINK, Davao
Davao City, Philippines
Sponsors educational and livelihood projects, providing jobs and skills building in communication, management, leadership, and organizing for lesbians. Grant is for general support.

Lithuanian National Organization for Lesbians and Gays
Vilnius, Lithuania
Publishes newsletters and brochures on the rights and health issues of lesbians and gay men, advocates for anti-discrimination litigation and provides sensitivity training for public servants and businesses. Grant is for general support.

Mujeres Creando
La Paz, Bolivia
Seeks to connect the issues of racism, sexism, democracy, land rights, and social justice through the work of their cultural center, Carcajada.  Grant is for a newsletter and weekly radio programs dealing with lesbian and gay human rights.

Triangle Project
Cape Town, South Africa
Provides counseling, a hotline, support groups, media development, a library and life skills education for the l/g/b/t community.  Grant is for expansion of services to rural areas in the Western Cape.

Youth Peer Support
Nairobi, Kenya
Advocates for human rights and operates underground network, in fear of police arrest, for gay and bisexual men in the urban centers of Kenya.   Grant is for general support.
