NEW YORK, NY, OCTOBER 7, 2008—The Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice is pleased to name Mai Kiang as its Director of Programs. This past year, Kiang served as Associate Director of Grantmaking and has been a part of Astraea for over 16 years as a community funding panel member, a board member, a committed donor, and a grantee partner.

ASTRAEA EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Astraea seeks an Associate Director of Grantmaking to lead coordination and oversight of all grantmaking systems, policies and procedures (incl. US and International Funds; funds supporting lesbian artists and writers; and donor-advised funds). Working closely with the Director of Programs and other staff, the Associate Director of Grantmaking will ensure that the grantmaking program advances Astraea's mission and strategic objectives.
