On May 27th, Astraea Foundation co-sponsored, Letters To CeCe, an afternoon of letter-writing to support CeCe MacDonald, a young African American transgender woman who was charged with two counts of "second degree murder" after an incident that began when she was violently assaulted because of her gender and race.
