Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice is proud to announce that it will host Harnessing Change: The Social Change Opportunity Fund (SCOF) International Grantee Convening.

The first Convening of it's kind, Harnessing Change will take place in Bangkok, Thailand March 29 - April 2, 2004. The Convening will bring together 29 activists from 13 organizations, all of whom are SCOF grantees working for human rights for LGBTI communities around the world. In addition to uniting grantees with each other and with Astraea staff and allies, the Convening will feature four days of workshops, discussion and strategizing.

As part of Astraea's role in the global movement for justice, we not only provide funding to activist organizations, but we hope to facilitate timely and inspiring conversations between grantees to help them strengthen their participation in local, national, regional and international movements for LGBTI human rights and to strengthen their linkages to other movements for social justice.
